Caesarea Stars
Continuum led the master planning and interpretation scheme for this important archaeological site. A key part of the interpretation is Caesarea Stars, a touchscreen interactive which allows visitors to ‘conjure up’ characters from the past in order to discover their role in Caesarea’s history. Twelve costumed characters, each with their own informative biography span four time periods from the Early Roman Period to the 20th Century, and communicate in any of five languages. Using the Holopro display technique the characters appear to float in space whilst they talk to the visitors.

Landscape Evolution Story with David Bellamy
The Fens Discovery Centre tells the story of the Fens in Lincolnshire, and the people who have lived there. Continuum were commissioned to produce this centre, which includes several pieces of media. The slow moving story of a changing landscape is instantly brought to life by a series of short video clips presented by the expressive David Bellamy. Using the touchscreen to explore the interactive, visitors can follow David as he visits different locations around the Fens, examining the land and plants, Roman remains and other evidence to understand the history of this remarkable place.

artsExplorer
The Wales Millenium Centre in Cardiff is home to artsExplorer, a hands-on interactive gallery. Among the many elements to be found there are 'The Vision – Meet the Architect' and 'Backstage Pass – Meet the Designer', touchscreen interactives which provide visitors with the ability to 'question' both the architect and interior designer of this state-of-the-art building. Each of these interactives fuse cutting edge design with traditional talking head functionality to create a fun and unique interactive, available in both English and Welsh.
