Kent+Life

Kent Life LeafletKent Life is a 28 acre, premier heritage farm attraction that encompasses a wonderful farmyard with a family of friendly animals ranging from donkeys, horses and ferrets to piglets, goats and lambs, many of whom are reared on site. At Cuddle Corner, our brand new petting area, you can even get up close to the farm animals. In addition, our specially designed Outdoor Adventure Play Area complete with Oast house climbing tower and our Indoor Soft Play Barn with 3 levels of interactive fun provide hours of entertainment for kids of all ages.

The site also plays host to a variety of historical buildings including Petts Farmhouse, Ulcombe Village Hall, Old & Water cottages, Cuxton Chapel and a new Agricultural store, many of which have been saved from demolition and perfectly restored to their original form on site. Through its buildings, Kent Life allows visitors to discover a rich and vibrant history of the people who lived and worked in the Garden of England over the past 150 years. It is one of the few remaining places in Britain where hops are grown, harvested, dried and packed in our magnificent double Oast house by hand, using only time honoured, traditional techniques. This process is celebrated at our annual Beer & Hop Festival in September, one of our extensive range of exciting events to look forward to throughout the year.

Kent Life also offers a developing nature trail, aviary, tractor rides and stilt walking as well as other activities to entertain visitors during holidays and weekends, such as sheep dog trial and sheep shearing demonstrations, bottle-feeding lambs, craft activities and animal grooming, we even have and 'Adopt An Animal scheme'.

Light refreshments are available at Kent Life in the Tea Rooms or the Coffee Bar, and the gift shop has a wide range of both traditional and modern souvenirs. We offer private hire for functions and weddings, children's birthday party packages, workshops for schools and group visits, all tailor-made to your requirements.
